Mr Wooly just called and said he has been offered full time welding work at the mill he is at until Dec. of this year. Sounds great but he is so far away from home. They may allow them to do shifts of 8 on, 6 off, which means he could be home a couple times a month. In addition, they will pay the $90/day for living out, so he could afford to rent a bachelor suite and could afford plane tickets. I need to crunch the numbers, but it sounds like such an opportunity would allow us to get ahead a bit.

July 17, 2007 at 7:18 PMIt might be a good way to get some extra dollars in if it is just for the 6, and if you can both put up with the distance and travel.
